When you purchase from us online we request the following information from you via the online application forms on our website:

Why do we collect this information?
We will use your information to book a ticket with our ferry operators. We will also send you a receipt via email and we may use your telephone number to contact you regarding your booking. We require this information in order to process your booking and fulfil our contract with you.
What do we do with your information?
All the information we collect from you is stored and processed in the UK. The bookings database containing all booking information collected from the online application forms is stored and remotely backed-up on a secure web server in a Data Centre managed and owned by the UK web hosting company.
Your payment details are passed to a third-party payment processor PayPal. NO payment details are ever stored by Fishing Ferry Limited.
We work with businesses who manage and support our website and as such, they have access to the information that we request from you in order to process your booking.
In rare cases we may disclose information to third parties where a legal obligation, or similar order is enforced upon us.
Fishing Ferry do not share data with any third parties other than those specifically mentioned above.
We will always take all necessary steps to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with this privacy policy.
Newsletter Consent?
We will use your information to send you our newsletter, which contains information about our products and often includes special offers.
We ask for your consent to do this, and we will only send you our newsletter for as long as you continue to consent.

How long do we keep your information for?
We keep your information on file for 3 years unless a request is made to us to delete it. We do this so you can view past bookings and log in to book crossing in the future.
Your rights over your information
By law, you can ask us what information we hold about you, and you can ask us to correct it if it is inaccurate.
- Easily access their data. All customer are granted access to the 'My Bookings' area of the website and are able to view and maintain the information we hold on file for them at any time.
- Have data rectified upon request. All customer have the right to change their details and can do so themselves via the 'My Bookings' of the website, or by emailing us or by putting it in writing to us.
- Have their data removed. Customer have the right to request removal from our database at anytime. Requests must be made by email to us or in writing to us.
